The New Fund for Cinema and Television (NFCT) and the Student Film Festival invite filmmakers from Arab society to submit proposals for short narrative projects. Selected projects will enter a development track featuring group meetings and individual script editing sessions.
The program also includes an intensive lab held during the Student Film Festival, comprising workshops, masterclasses, enrichment content, and project feedback from a directorial perspective. Program participants will receive a festival pass and will take part in screenings and additional festival events.
Upon completion of the development process and the submission of a full production package, the Fund will select one project to receive a production grant and continued mentorship. We are seeking projects covering a wide range of topics, specifically those dealing with Israel today with an emphasis on social issues—including genre films as well as hybrid projects that incorporate innovative technologies
