In collaboration with the New Fund For Film and Television, the festival initiated an incubator for the development of women’s short films. Female filmmakers at the beginning of their career were selected for the Lab, who during the week of the festival are going through training meetings with professional Israeli filmmakers and industry people from abroad. They participate in directing, casting, sound, cinematography and story board workshops with the best filmmakers in Israel. In addition, they take part in the Festival events and develop connections with other filmmakers who participate in the Festival.
