Surveilling the Savage Sea

This film consists of surveillance footage from 30 different cameras on beaches around the world, revealing a perilous journey of migration. It highlights selective rescue politics, paradoxes in border surveillance, climate-induced displacements, and the sublime nature of the ocean which cannot be surveyed.
