An anonymous traveler recounts his visits to three different cities: the spiritual Jerusalem, the material Jerusalem, and the virtual Jerusalem. Though he initially conjures a utopian vision of the city, the traveler discovers a reality more complex than what he had imagined, and ultimately finds sanctuary in a new and virtual version of Jerusalem - peaceful, and empty of its inhabitants.
