The Truth of the Logline – Pitching & Submissions Workshop

What are production companies and broadcasters in general looking for while you are doing your pitching? And why is it important that you know how to tell about your work in one sentence? The answers to these questions and many more, will be revealed by Michal Cooper Keren in a practical workshop that will teach you how to write a compelling synopsis, an intriguing statement of intent and a powerful log line, with the help of practical and simple tools.
Michal Cooper Keren is a screenwriter, television creator and showrunner of drama series for teens and adults. A graduate of New York University (NYU), as part of her studies she made two short films that were broadcast on the British Channel 4. Cooper Keren has created and written the youth series "Spyders," "The Policeman’s Daughter" "North Star," "Summer Break Diaries " and more. The "Kadabara" youth series she created was sold to HBO Europe as well as to Belgium, France and Poland, and won the Best Youth Series award at the Academy Awards for Television. In addition, Cooper Keren created the series "Maybe This Time" and was the screenwriter of the comedy series “My Problems with Women”.
