For the past 15 years, Clara and Hans, former R.A.F members, have been hiding in Portugal. They have one daughter, Jeanne, whose whole life has been one of loneliness and estrangement. Every contact with teens her age is strictly forbidden, like everything else that might uncover their identities, and she yearns for a normal life. When they are forced on the run again, Jeanne has to make a crucial decision – what is more important to her, her family, or her independence?
