How to Direct a Sex Scene?
How to Direct a Sex Scene?
How do you direct a sex scene? How can the actors who are exposed in front of the camera be protected, without harming the director's vision? How can one even direct intimacy? What artistic approaches are there to directing a sex scene? And where does the scene cross the line? Film and television students encounter the complexities of directing a sex scene from an early stage in their studies, but even veteran filmmakres are constantly faced with the same dilemmas. Sex and intimacy are topics that affect both young and experienced creators, especially in a changing world where the need to set clear boundaries has become of primary importance; but at the same time, subversion and dare in film and television is growing.
In an open, exposed and fascinating conversation, director, screenwriter and actress Hagar Ben Asher ("Misholim", "The Slut"); TV creator, director and screenwriter Hagai Levy ("In Treatment", "The Affair", "Scenes from a Marriage"); and the first intimacy coordinator in Israel, Erga Yaari, will try to answer all the difficult questions, shatter taboos and talk about their different approaches to directing intimate scenes.

The event will be held in Hebrew.
