Mela Melak

Mela Melak is a Polish production designer. Melak is based in Paris and works internationally across narrative cinema. Her recent work on A Real Pain, directed by Jesse Eisenberg, premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and was later nominated for the 97th Academy Awards, the Golden Globes, and the BAFTAs. Mela previously collaborated on the Emmy-winning documentary Kubrick by Kubrick (dir. Gregory Monro) and designed the Polish sets for Claire Denis’s High Life, starring Juliette Binoche and Robert Pattinson. Mela was selected for the Berlinale Talents 2024 and is a member of the Production Designer Collective.
