Tomas and Ebba take a ski trip in the French Alps with their two children, Vera and Harry. While eating lunch at the mountainside, an avalanche occurs and heads towards the restaurant. All the patrons start panicking and fleeing, including Tomas who leaves his family behind. When the fog lifts and no one is hurt, Tomas will have to deal with the consequences of his actions, and whether his wife and children are still able to trust him.
