It is summer of 2006, the Second Lebanon War. Five reservists wait to leave for Lebanon. It feels like they are family, they know each other without saying a word. Fragments of memories flood them all as they shift between when they tried to catch a fish in the river and the long wait in the heat of Baram's ancient synagogue.
